Thunders was born from the partnership of two experienced entrepreneurs, Karim Jouini (CEO) and Jihed Othmani (CTO). Both are the architects behind Expensya, a SaaS expense management platform acquired in 2023 by the Swedish fintech giant Medius for more than 120 million dollars.
That first success was more than an exit; it was a learning curve. The founders learned to move fast, read markets, and build products that solve real pain points.
