Bridge test management in Xray with execution in Thunders

Bring Xray tests into Thunders with Copilot. Whether your tests are step-based or Gherkin, the structure and traceability carry over.

Push execution results back to Xray with pass/fail status, screenshots, and evidence. Traceability stays intact.

Read the acceptance criteria from a Jira story and create matching test cases, in both Thunders and Xray, keeping both systems aligned from day one.

How to set up Xray with Thunders

Step 1: Connect your Xray instance

Go to Knowledge > All sources. Connect your Jira + Xray credentials. Thunders gets access to your workspace. Select the projects you want to work with.

Step 2: Bring Xray tests into Thunders with Copilot

Tell Thunders Copilot which tests to bring in: by test plan, test set, story, or epic. It reads the test definitions, understands the steps and expected results, and creates Thunders test cases with full traceability back to Xray.

Step 3: Run tests and push results back

Execute the imported tests in Thunders with any AI persona, browser, and environment. Results sync back to Xray as test execution records with screenshots and evidence attached.

Step 4: Generate new tests from Jira stories

For new work, Thunders Copilot reads a Jira story's acceptance criteria and generates Thunders test cases and creates matching Xray test issues for traceability, keeping both systems aligned.
