Xray Data Center sync, Hot Reload improvements, and an expanded Thunders MCP toolset
TL;DR
This release adds native Xray Data Center sync, lets Hot Reload resume after edits and run longer, rounds out the Thunders MCP toolset, and ships a batch of run-view, connector, and reliability fixes.
FEATURE
- Xray Data Center sync: sync to Xray from the run properties panel now creates a Test Execution in Xray Data Center too, with the same per-step statuses, screenshots, and timestamps you already get with Xray Cloud.
- New Thunders MCP tools: delete a test case, list a project's test sets, add or remove a test case's test-set membership by ID or name, and upload or list test assets, all directly through the Thunders MCP server.
IMPROVEMENT
- JavaScript steps via Thunders MCP: the existing step-editing tools can now add or update JavaScript steps, not just other step types.
- Loading state: opening a test that's still running now shows a loading placeholder instead of a blank blink.
FIX
- Mobile screen resolution: mobile test runs now use the device's actual screen resolution instead of a generic default, for more accurate screenshots and coordinates.
- ClickUp bug reports: creating a ClickUp bug report now offers you a list of valid destinations instead of guessing one and failing.
- Hot Reload picks up where you left off: editing certain steps during Hot Reload used to send your run back to the very beginning. Now it resumes from where you were, and sessions no longer cut off after a fixed 5 minutes, so you have more room on longer test cases.
- Run view text: fixed two bugs that could leave a run's steps unreadable: a conditional step whose check failed showed a bare "If" with no condition text, and a run that aborted mid-execution could leave every step's recap blank.
- Custom connector dialog: the dialog no longer auto-dismisses while you're filling it in, which used to happen in Edge and with the Windows+V clipboard shortcut.
- Reusable module steps: a reusable module's child steps now stay visible in a live run's step list instead of disappearing until you reload the page.
- Test case versions: reused test case steps now expand correctly after you restore an earlier version, instead of showing empty until a refresh.
- File Compare: File Compare failures now surface as bug reports in your run report, and there's no longer a length limit on the guidance text.
- Steadier test runs: a batch of reliability fixes across element detection, frame handling, and test credentials that cut down on flaky failures.
